Calaveras Lumber Burglarized

   According to the Angels Camp Police Department, on November 27, 2014 at approximately 5:15 AM, Ofc. Kyle Hansen and Ofc. Jim McKeon responded to Calaveras Lumber for a suspicious circumstance. 

   The party who reported could hear someone throwing things
and could see the motion activated lights turning on and off.

   Officers responded to Calaveras Lumber and saw a vehicle leaving the parking lot.  Officers stopped the vehicle and the driver was identified as 53 year old Avery resident, Tracy Rogers.

   While speaking to Rogers, officers could see items in the vehicle with Calaveras Lumber price tags on them.

   Rogers admitted to stealing the items from Calaveras Lumber on November 17, 2014.

   The vehicle Rogers was driving was registered to one of her family members.  The registered
owner was contacted and she advised that Rogers took the vehicle without permission sometime during the night.

   Good job, Angels Camp PD!!

   Rogers was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Grand Theft, Vehicle Theft and Possession of Burglary Tools.
