UPDATE: Current CIA Director John Brennan says that the CIA is not planning on doing any more prisoner holding. The CBC reporter asked when he believes the EIT's crossed the line. He didn't like that question and was very nervous.
UPDATE: Now we find out that the CIA is in charge of the "drone" kill program. One reporter asked if we are going to see a bad report of the CIA's killing
innocent people with the "drone" program.

Every day a little more information comes out about the CIA torture. On Hardball last night, a Vietnam War general stated that the reason torture is often used is as a way to feel they are getting even for anger about the fellow soldiers killed, instead of for getting information.
Today they have now admitted that Vengeance is a big reason why torture (the CIA calls it EIT) was used after 9/11. As the CIA chief said this morning, "We are human, we are not perfect."
The "Enhanced Interrogation Technique" tapes have apparently all been destroyed.
