Supervisor Spellman made a big point of criticizing a man in the audience who said he felt the Supervisors were "slimy", during the Calaveras Supervisors Public Comment time.Spellman stated that he knows a lot of people out there think they are slimy, but he takes exception to the insult being made publicly.
Of all elected officials to feel insulted by that comment, Spellman??????

Hasn't Spellman been absent with pay for quite a few meetings?
Then he offers an excuse for missing the last meeting. He was meeting with some people (out of county) about a possible project that he has been working on and will continue to work on.
I hope he remembers he won't be paid by the county after December 31, 2014.
