UPDATE at 12:10 PM: The roadway is now clear per CHP.
March 12, 2015 at 12 Noon: CHP is en route to a reported traffic hazard on Hwy 49 at Fricot City Road between San Andreas and Angels Camp.
It isn't clear what the hazard is, so be extra careful in that area.
