On Wednesday October 14, 2015 at 9 AM the Calaveras County Water District, to whom all property owners in Calaveras County pay taxes, will hold a meeting about which they ARE telling the public. Hard to believe,what with their opinion of the public stated!
After listen to the tape of their secret meeting, which they said was an EMERGENCY SPECIAL meeting (you know, the one we reported with all the laughing and then moaning about how they hate allowing public comment; ending up
with trying to remove one Directors right to free speech, we are surprised.
Previously, we had believed the Metzger family to be an honorable one, but now that one of them is part of a rogue, Brown Act violating group, who lies to avoid telling the public they are meeting, we aren't so sure.
The CCWD Board, led by Bertha Underhill, has officially violated the PUBLIC TRUST, by pretending they had to hold a Special Emergency Meeting, so the press wouldn't know and they would have free reign over us, insulting everyone who elected them.
Is it because they are paying Mr. Metzger so much money to hide the truth? Has he no honor at all; no respect for the fellow taxpayers in this poor, rural county. Will he continue to violate all principles in order to rake in the big dough they pay him?
Will the entire Board of Directors be recalled? Not one of them who agreed to that secret meeting deserves their seat. We understand there were four; and that one was not a party to the disgrace.
