CHP helps rescue elephant seal

   UPDATE: This elephant seal delivered a new pup yesterday.

   CHP and a local rescue group joined together to herd and rescue a female elephant seal back into San Francisco Bay yesterday, after she tried to cross the highway.

   Rescuers felt she was lost after coming up an unfamiliar waterway. CHP was keeping an eye on the area overnight.
