Everyone is thrilled that we have snow in the Sierras, and CHP is aware that many who live in the lower elevations want to take the family to play in the snow.They are advising all families headed for snow country to carry chains, take warm blankets, pull completely off the roadway to play and to please gather all of their trash to take home or place in garbage containers.
