January 1, 2016 at 11:30 AM: Multiple vehicles are now stuck on Moran Road near Love Creek Road in Avery due to an ice slick.
Calaveras County road crews have been called out to sand the area and tow trucks are being dispatched to assist drivers. Moran is also being blocked off to stop more vehicles from getting stuck.

I wonder if our absent Supervisor can do anything about this. About 50 % of Moran Road from Avery to Murphys Drive is about covered with ice. A really poor job of snow plowing.
