Replacing one pipeline in Ebbetts Pass will cost ratepayers $4.1 million and the work won't even be done by a local business. NO Fire Hydrants in project.
A big Sacramento company was given the contract because Bertha Underhill says they were the lowest bidder. So much for caring about jobs in Ebbetts Pass. Fire hydrants are LAST on CCWD's list of necessities, unfortunately!
