The State of Jefferson is trying to secede from the State of California. On March 29, 2016 they made a presentation to the Calaveras Board of Supervisors.Ginny Rapini, the leader of NorCal Tea Party, often represents the issue in Sacramento. It isn't likely that our Supervisors will vote to approve to secede. They would be afraid of losing their jobs!!!
