On April 18, 2016 the Calaveras Sheriff's Office received a report of two backpacks having been stolen at Hwy 4 and Shirley Road in Copperopolis.
The suspects apparently were in a gray Mercedes and stopped at the Shell station, then headed west on Hwy 4, possibly had a weapon. The Sheriff's Office took a report.
