Why does the Calaveras Cannabis Alliance favor Ordinance??

It's pretty obvious that the Calaveras Cannabis Alliance is in favor of the new emergency ordinance being put into effect in Calaveras County.  Why??

This is a business, folks, and it's simple math!  The current millionaire growers fear that
if there are too many new growers that the price will go down.  They could even be put out of business.

So, the County is helping them keep the price of Cannabis high, allowing those who are already growing to continue, but stopping any new growers from buying land.

Something seems wrong about that!  Why no EIR when the grape and wine businesses began flooding the county?  And what happened to the Right to Farm policy in Calaveras County?

We have emailed Peter Maurer these questions and will publish the when he
responds.

True. Not only that but they were not really in favor of the City of Angels passing approval; either of cultivation or a dispensary. Cuts into the others profits! Yep, its all about money!!

Amazing the number of growers here already. no taxes. no cops. better than a regular business.
