Long meeting in Calaveras just for Blagen Road??? Meutterties???

It seems that there was a special meeting at the Calaveras BOS dedicated mainly to fixing Blagen Road, where a bridge washed out on CCWD land.

While there are no homes out beyond the bridge, there is the Moose Lodge and White Pines Park, who lease the land from CCWD.

George Fry raised his voice at the Supervisors, asking why they don't make our Federal Representatives, like McClintock, take care of the emergency?

Finally, it was decided that they would try to buy a bridge for $75,000. The subject will be brought back to the Board at the next meeting.  This is in Chair Oliveira's district 3 and he's up for re-election next year.

Oliveira is being careful NOT to rant in public, and has not yet bragged, as he does about everything, that he knows how to fix the problem.

It is widely believed in D3 that someone, most likely a Meutterties, is yanking his chain to try and help him get re-elected.  There is now a Meutterties on the Planning Commission, COG and the Appeals Board for property taxes. hmmmmmmmmm

Do they receive a stipend for the meetings they attend?

Hey, whatever happened to the controversial road issue, where the county released the developer from completing his Olive Orchard Estates contractual agreement? Is that developer, now, the biggest developer in Calaveras?

This may not have been the only thing on the agenda, but it was totally fabricated and planned by oliveira to tell the government the emergency was REAL???
