According to a CHP report, on March 25, 2017 around 1:15 AM John D. McAllister, Jr (22) of San Andreas, was driving at 2002 GMC on Calaveritas Road south of Mountain Ranch Road at an unknown speed.
For an unknown reason McAllister allowed his GMC pickup to veer across the southbound lane and onto the right shoulder where it struck a barbed wire fence before rolling over two times.
The pickup finally came to rest on its wheels and McAlister was able to self-extricate and make a cell phone call to 911.
He was taken to Doctors Hospital in Modesto with major injuries. Alcohol and or drugs are not suspected in this collision.
