UPDATE by Calaveras Sheriff: The man died from his injuries.
UPDATE at 11:40 AM: The patient is being airlifted to a hospital.
UPDATE: CPR is being
used on this person, who is now unresponsive.
April 6, 2017 at 11:20 AM: Emergency personnel is responding to a report of a falling tree striking a person on Whiskey Slide Road in Mountain Ranch.
The person is apparently unconscious at this time. Fire and ambulance is en route to the scene.
