Cause of the Ferguson Fire

The Ferguson fire, which burned 96,000 acres in the Sierra National Forest, has been determined to have been caused by a vehicle with a faulty catalytic system.

The vehicle has not yet been located, but was known to have been on Hwy 140 near Savages Trading Post around 8:25 PM on July 13, 2018. Please call 559-297-0706.

I can't tell you the number of vehicles that I have seen pull off the road into dry grass (even if its short dry grass) and it's not just the flatlanders!
