Fire damage in Butte County cost is nearly $10 billion

Insurance companies are trying to hold on to what is now believed to be an astronomical cost due to the damage from the Camp Fire in Butte County.

One specialist estimates the total price tag could be anywhere from $7.5 to $10 billion. What will PG&E be required to do?

Will the legislature EVER force them to bury their lines, which they know will prevent these fires?
