CalFire reports that they battled a fire on Deer Creek Road near Boulder Creek on September
3, 2019.
Before it was extinguished, one outbuilding was destroyed, several others were threatened, one firefighter was injured and it burned over 10 acres.
It took 100 firefighters and multiple aircraft to stop this fire in the Santa Cruz Mountains. It was started by illegal burning by a property owner.
