Juvenile arrested

    According to CHP on July 2, 2021 at approximately 11:25 AM members of the CHP and County

Sheriff engaged in a pursuit of a stolen Dodge Dart.

   Upon termination of the pursuit the driver (a juvenile) fled the scene on foot and the passenger was detained on Jaquima Drive in Angels Camp.

    At that point a small grass fire was ignited and was extinguished by fire and police at the scene.

    The driver, from Bishop, CA. was eventually located in Inyo County and transported to a Juvenile Detention facility where he will face alleged charges from the incident.
