     September 7, 2025 at 12:45 AM:  A fire was reported on Boards Crossing Road just east of Sierra Parkway in Dorrington.

   The fire department quickly contained the fire at 1/4 acre.   Water tenders were dispatched to the scene. The cause has not been indicated.

Collision in Copperopolis

    May 26, 2025 at 12:45 PM:  A silver KIA and a black Toyota have reportedly collided on Feather Drive near the Rocket Gas Station.

   No injuries have been indicated. A tow truck is responding.

    On May 27-29, 2025 Calfire will be conduting a control burn in the Burson area.

    This will be near Camanche Parkway and Patterson Road.

Angels Camp doesn't want MORE taxes

    Mark Twain Elementary School District attempted to get a parcel tax added to residents to aid the school district with Measure A.

    It needed a 2/3 approval and did not succed.  Guess Angels Camp doesn't want more taxes.
