Today is the last day you can order from Amazon.com without paying CA sales tax.
Saturday, September 15, 2012, is the first day of collecting sales tax from Amazon.com if you live in California.
If, however, you buy from one of their thousands of third party vendors, you can still get around the sales tax. 7.25% is nothing to sneeze at these days.
