Lawrence Gamble See

   Mr. Lawrence Gamble See, of Angels Camp, passed away at his home on September 11, 2012. He was 72.

   A native of Christiansburg, Virginia, Mr. See  had lived in Angels Camp for 10 years, having previously resided in the Pleasanton and San Jose areas, where he was a High Definition Specialist for Sony Broadcasting for 37 years, helping to develop high definition television for Sony.

   Mr. See was a member of Union Congregational Church in Angels Camp, of Riverside Astronomy Club in Riverside, loved woodworking, and was very active in Lynwood United Methodist Church in Pleasonton while living there.

  He is survived by his wife of 49 years Martha See of Angels Camp, children Kevin (Heather) See of San Francisco and Robert (Maria) See of Medford, Oregon; brothers Norman (Sharon) See of Mount Perry, Ohio, Alvin See of Wooster, Massachusetts, and Eric (Penny) See of Annapolis, Maryland; sisters Elizabeth Watson of Baltimore, Maryland, Rachel See of Baltimore, Maryland, Margaret (Ed) Justice of Millersville, Maryland and Carol (Dana) Wolney of Columbia, Maryland. He also leaves four grandchildren.

    A memorial will be held on Friday September 21, 2012 at 2 PM at the Union Congregational church in Angels Camp. Inurnment will be private.
