The motion to approve the Platform of the Democratic Party was put on the floor today, and the chair let the delegates vote three times.
It was clear that there was a louder vote NO each time, but after the third time, the chair looked around and didn't know what to do. A woman came over and said something to him.
He then stated, "In the opinion of the chair, the AYES have a 2/3 majority and the Platform is passed. Now, what was it about the Platform the Naysayers didn't like?
We'll be posting that after it becomes clearer, but its obvious that in both political parties there are many unhappy members. One thing we know is that nearly half the seats were empty during the voting. Where were the delegates?
