One Step Forward for the City of Angels Camp

The City Council has taken one step forward; one that the Sierra Sentinel has been recommending for years.
In moving the Building and Planning Department to the Monte Verde Street address, which the City owns, they will save around $150,000.

This means that they can now hire their own engineer and Public Works official, which is something the City has needed to do for a long time.

One small step for the City Council; one large step for the taxpayers, to be free of an overpriced engineering firm, which has been, in our opinion, sucking the City dry for many years.
