Still simmering with election loss ire, House Republicans, (97 of them) signed a letter condemning Susan Rice, the African American woman who is in contention to replace Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State.
When the Women's House of Representative;s committee called them out for the letter, they tried to blame Rice for what General Petraeus had already testified was an intelligence call on the press release she read about the Benghazi attack.
On CNN this morning, one of the authors of the letter was interviewed and was asked why they had not comdemned Condoleeza Rice, who worked under a Republican White House, and gave false information about the Iraq weapons of mass destruction.
The poor guy fumbled and stammered, then tried to change the conversation to the White House. allowing her to be the spokesperson in the first place.
Code words, false accusations, outright hatred for any woman being placed in a high position, and having a black President at all, still control the actions of many Republicans. How sad!
If they continue in this manner, we don't see a future for the Republican Party!!
