Thank You to Constituents and Dan Lungren from Ami Bera

To all my Constituents:

As we go into the Thanksgiving Holiday, I have a lot to be thankful for.

I am thankful for the voters of the Seventh District who excercised their most sacred right and cast a ballot in the election. No matter who you voted for, thank you for being a part of this process.

I am thankful for the volunteers, staff and supporters who put their faith in me and helped us achieve this great accomplishment. Thank you.

I am thankful for the freedoms that our great nation represents, and for the men and women who serve in our military and fight to protect these freedoms daily. Thank you.

I am thankful for the opportunity America offered my parents when they arrived here from India in the 1950s with little more than a dream to build a better life.

I am thankful to my wife Janine, and our daughter Sydra. Your strength and support were amazing. Thank you.

And I am thankful for Congressman Lungren's years of service to our nation and state. When we spoke last week, he offered the sage advice of going forth with humility, honor and respect for the faith the voters have placed in me and for the duties I will swear to uphold. Congressman, I will remember your words as I serve the 7th district. Thank you.

On this Thanksgiving Day, I have a lot to be thankful for. On behalf of Janine, Sydra, and myself we wish you and your families a blessed Thanksgiving day.

Be Well,

Ami

Yeah. I hope he stays that way when he gets up there with the other mudslingers.
