District 5 Supervisor says he likes the "Civility"? of 2013

The secret Board meeting (not filmed) of December 3, 2013, was audio taped and we recently were able to listen to the meeting.

There was a lot of praise for the Supervisors for themselves during this meeting. A discussion on how to keep the public from removing items from the Consent Agenda was discussed.

One interesting comment made by candidate for re-election Darren Spellman of District 5. He stated that he really liked the "civility" of this Board during the year.

What he really means is he likes how these Board members have been instructed by the chair to fight in private and not let the public know there is dissention among Board members.

Spellman is worried about being elected Chair and so is complimenting all the other Board members so they won't vote against him.

Most of the entire meeting seemed to be about cutting out the public, as they have over the past 2 years, cutting down public comments, etc.

Anyone who pays attention knows what MUST go on behind the scenes.   Callaway was intent on getting more power for the Chair (herself).

If the people in District 3 WAKE UP!
But, it's obvious the "no growthers" in D-3 don't want a change. There is always HOPE.
The people in District 5 are awake. If 3 people file, the race to the finish is on. There is serious discontent with Mr. Spellman. Get this show on the road! somebody is going down!
