According to a CHP report, on January 17, 2014 at 1:30 PM Gloria Zanarini (53) of Arnold was driving a 2013 Nissan Rogue on Meadow Drive, southbound at approximately 20 MPH.
Mary Dare (66) of Orangevale was driving a 2014 Hyundai southbound at approximately 25 MPH, when she noticed a pedestrian getting ready to cross Meadow Drive.
Mrs. Dare came slowed down and came to a complete stop, per the report. As Mrs Zanarini approached the rear of the Hyundai, she failed to stop in time and the front of the Nissan collided with the rear fo the Hyundai.
Mrs. Zanarini was transported to Mark Twain Hospital with a complaint of pain to her back. Mrs. Dare was uninjured.
