The California Republican Tea Party meets in LA this weekend and of course the "ire-breathing evangelist" judgmentals, who now control the California Republican Party will be out in force. (Excuse us while we barf)
Rand Paul of Kentucky and Kevin McCarthy of Bakersfield fit the Jim Brulte style of well-spoken, intelligent and "moderate" Republicans, but the "party" will never support them statewide. Having attended one, we know it's only good for a big laugh and a lot of cursing at what has happened to "Republicans".
