It's getting so it's hard to open the daily press release from Cal Fire, especially as it relates to the King Fire in El Dorado and now Placer Counties. Arresting the alleged arsonist has not done anything to slow down his fire. The total is now at 77,000 acres.
During the night, another 5000 acres were burned. Containment grew to 10%, which isn't much. The fire management brags that they haven't lost a single home, but do not take into account the wild forest creatures or their homes. 12,000 human homes are currently threatened.
