Surprising to some, after 300 years of bloody battles and strives to be free, that in the first ever vote for freedom from the United Kingdom, Scots decided to stay.
The vote was 55-45%. Prime Minister Cameron made some last minute promised to Scottish citizens to improve their benefits which helped influence the vote in England's favor.
