Arson suspect arrested for Boles Fire in Weed

   Cal Fire announced that on October 11, 2014 Weed Police Department arrested Ronald Beau Marshall, (24) of Weed, in connection with the Boles Fire.


   After a three week joint investigation between Weed Police, Siskiyou County Sheriff and Cal Fire, Marshall was arrested and booked into the Siskiyou County Jail on a felony warrant with charges of alleged Arson of an Inhabited Structure or Property, Arson to Forest Land and Arson of Property of
Another. Bail was set at $250,000.

   The Boles fire destroyed 516 acres, 157 homes, and forced the evacuation of more than 4000 people. Over 1000 firefighters were on the front lines battling this destructive fire.

It is so scary how many arsonists are out there. People angry at the state of California or angry over being fired from a job, angry that they feel the world owes them, all kinds of crazy! Are any of us safe from them?

That was another terrible fire. We have to lock these people away forever. This one will probably be set free before long. And the Rim Fire started never has been locked up, as far as I have seen.
