CalFire has issued a press release that the burning ban is now officially lifted as of December 8, 2014 at 8 AM. No permits are required and no special hours are designated at the present time. You still must call the burn number for your area to see if it is an allowed burn day.The usual rules burning rules apply. Josh White issued the press release for Tuolumne, Calaveras, Eastern San Joaquin and Eastern Stanislaus counties.
In Calaveras call 754-6600, in Tuolumne call 533-5598 and in San Joaquin and Stanislaus call 877-429-2876.
