Alberta Ann Whittle Bardsley

    Born in Sonora to Margaret Mary Whittle and Joe Lauren Whittle, Alberta was married to Robert Bardsley August 12, 1944 and raised
a family of three children in Altaville.

   She became a nurse and worked at Mark twain Hospital in San Andreas and for doctor Albasio in Angels Camp for most of her nursing career.   She also worked as a first aid nurse at the Frog Jump for several years.

  Alberta was fondly called "Honey" by her family and grandchildren.. She was the pillar that loved her family and friends

unconditionally.

   She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, daughter Robin and son George.

   She will be greatly missed by her daughter and son-in-law Jim and Darlene Goforth, 7 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren along with many friends and family members.

   A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Alberta on February 22, 2015 at 3 PM at the Gun Club at Frog Town.
