On February 23, 2015 the Calaveras Sheriff's Office arrested Jeffrey Luther Earl McVey (33) of Galt for alleged Possession of a firearm by a Felon and Prohibited to own Ammunition, both felonies and for Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Controlled Substance Paraphernalia and for Obstructing or Resisting a Peace Officer, misdemeanors.
McVey was booked into the Calaveras County Jail.
Also arrested at that time was Robert Michael Stoker (45) of Valley Springs for Prohibited from owning Ammunition, a felony and Receiving known Stolen Property under $950 value, a misdemeanor.
Stoker was also booked into the Calaveras County Jail.
