Again Rand Paul has introduced an "Audit the Fed" bill to Congress. He and many others feel that the American public has a right to know what the Fed is doing. Very interesting....
However, the FED and others, including the President, say that it would not be in the best interest of the people for them to know details of what the FED is doing. They feel it would then be politicized, instead of having decisions made on economic importance.
