Son pleads not guilty to slaying wealthy father

   Thomas Gilbert, Jr. has plead not guilty to the alleged slaying of his father, wealthy financier and owner of  Wainscott Capital Partners, Thomas Gilbert, Sr.

   Police in Manhattan allege that the 30-year-old son killed his 70-year-old father in an argument over his allowance in the father's eastside Manhattan apartment.
