Squaw Valley World Cup skiing cancelled

Due to the continuing drought conditions, Squaw Valley has determined they do not have enough snow to hold the World Cup Skicross and Snowboardcross events in March. so they are forced to cancel the event.

They usually record around 450 inches at the top. This year they only have had 140 inches at 8200', not near enough for the races.  The event would have drawn top skiers from around the world.
