UPDATE: BOE investigators pulled out--Warning to all Calaveras Businesses

UPDATE  February 6, 2015 at 11:55 AM:  We just got off the phone with George Runner's office in Sacramento. His Chief of Staff called to let us know that they have pulled the BOE investigators out of Calaveras County
due to our complaint and are investigating.

Also, we were told that he will be issuing a written response to our email of yesterday, which we will publish when we receive it.

UPDATE: As of this morning, February 6, 2015 we have heard nothing from Mr. Runner. We also understand that some have called his office in Sacramento to complain.

UPDATE:  We sent an email to Mr. Runner, asking for an explanation. We will let you know when we hear from him.

George Runner, our State Board of Equalization representative, has sent men out to Calaveras County to harass businesses.

Instead of checking their records to see if a business has a resale license they are haphazardly
going around and interrupting businesses, demanding to see their resale license forms.

I recommend you refuse to give them any information and call George Runner's office to complain. 916-445-2181. Mr. Runner was the person who ran with the purpose, he said, of NOT allowing businesses to be harassed by the state of California.

What next. we have to clear-cut our own land, they have snoops out everywhere and now this too. Hasn't Calaveras been through enough. So much for Runner!

Elected officials always wait until just after an election to begin their programs of harassment.
