Lately it seems that Brian Williams ads are all over NBC, promoting the honest, reliable anchor of NBC News.
Now it seems that the reason for the promos is due to the fact that Williams was called out by the military in a "fib" about being shot down in a military helicopter in Iraq.
He publicly apologized, saying it was his memory that was bad about the incident; that another helicopter had been hit an hour before his arrived.
