If you come to the Calaveras County Fair on May 15, 2015 and register to join the Frogtown Run/Walk 5K you will receive a free t-shirt, pedometer and your entry fee is only $5.
Rock it in Red is from 8 AM to 1 PM and is sponsored by Mark Twain Medical Center and the 39th District Agricultural Association.
Members of Soroptimist International of Calaveras County are assisting with the days activities. You can walk or run at your own pace on a marked course around the Fairground -- four loops of the grounds equals 5k.
Check in at the Guest Relations Booth near the main gate. Each loop completed earns a ticket to be entered into prize drawings.
This is all part of the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women movement that day. You are encouraged to wear red to the fair that day.
