Escapee from Vallecito Work Camp

   UPDATE:  Per the Calaveras Sheriff's Office the escaped inmate has been captured and returned to custody.  It seems the Sheriff had the help of people who called in a reported seeing the suspect on Murphys Grade Road.


    The Calaveras County Sheriff has advised that Taurus Hedricks, a 22 year old black male, 160 lbs with black hair, brown eyes, blue jeans, a grey sweatshirt and white tennis shoes has escaped from the Vallecito Cal Fire Work Camp.

   He was last seen walking towards Hwy 4 in Vallecito. If you see him, call the Calaveras Sheriff at 754-6500.
