No Pine Needles??? Separate everything??

UPDATE:  We just spoke with Public Works and they say that the Miller Yard is a private business and that they have no knowledge of what they do there.

The only places in Calaveras County where you can legally dump your yard waste is Red Hill and Rock Creek.

We have had so many questions from Ebbetts Pass residents regarding disposal of pine needles and other lot clearing debris, that we wonder why the changes are happening.

It appears that the place where pine needles end up, a burning plant in the Ione area, doesn't want anything but pine needles now. No sticks, no other plantlife, no grass cuttings, etc.

We have calls in to the main recycler and the County to try and find out what they are doing about the problem, as many are now burning instead of taking their debris to the recycle yard in Arnold.

Many have questioned Mr. Oliveira, the new Supervisor for District 3 and he does not seem to know what to do, so people are very upset with him.

Why don't we all just go to CalFire and get burn permits and burn everything, smoke the place up and maybe they'll listen.
