San Franciso to vote on Circumcision

Long debated among those who feel that circumcising males is a form of genital mutilation, a large group of citizens in San Francisco is gathering signatures to place it on the ballot.

At issue is whether the baby should have the right to decide on whether to mutilate his body or not when he gets older.

There is also the issue of putting the baby through that kind of pain, which medical personnel say is not necessary for health reasons.

The Jewish community is up in arms, saying it is a religious requirement for boys. If it passes, and it could, circumcision could be banned within the City by the Bay.

And so, will this spread, changing what has become a normal mutilation for what some say is looks for a male. Hmmmm.
