What fires do to wildlife

   This photo was taken by CalFire after they rescued an injured fawn during the Forebay Fire. Obviously too tiny to run with his mother, he was left to burn and die.

   CalFire employees resuscitated and treated the fawn. Later in the day it showed signs of improvement and was taken to a rescue center. 

  This is what fires do; they destroy our most precious assets in California; the land and the animals that depend on that land.
