July 11, 2015 at 6 AM: One way traffic is still in effect after a pickup pulling a pontoon boat reportedly spun out on Hwy 12 at the Tower Park Bridge and hit an SUV at around 1:20 AM this morning.
A big rig, a tractor trailer
and a 36' boat were all apparently involved in this collision. An ambulance responded to take the injured to hospitals.
Caltrans issued sigalerts and CHP remains at the scene. Tow trucks had difficulty accessing the vehicles due to heavy traffic blocking access. The boat had ended up in the construction zone, and was a challenge to recover.
Crews were busy for the remained of the night, trying to redirect traffic and getting the vehicles towed away.
