UPDATE: We just learned that only 1 aircraft, a helicopter is working the Big Creek Fire. The cause of this fire is still under investigation.
July 30, 2015 at 11:35 AM: Cal Fire just updated the acreage on the Big Creek Fire to 205 acres. Hwy 120 is currently open. Residents on Hells Hollow Road have been evacuated.
This fire is still on 5 % contained. They seem to be having trouble getting additional equipment and other resources. The fire started on Hwy 120 near Sprague in Groveland.
