According to CHP on July 25, 2015 around 5 PM Jay Balletti (69) of Dorrington, was driving a 2000 Dodge northbound on Sierra Parkway south of Wikami Way in Arnold at a speed of around 15-20 MPH, when he suffered a medical emergency and became unconscious.
The Dodge continued northeast of the northbound lane, across the shoulder and down the eastern embankment, where the right side of the roof struck a tree.
The Dodge continued down the eastern embankment and came to rest facing in a northeasterly direction.
Mr. Balletti was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. Doreen Balletti (69), a passenger in the vehicle, was uninjured.
Drugs and/or alcohol are not considered to be a factor in this collision.
