UPDATE: Both vehicles have front end damage and are blocking the roadway. Two tow trucks have been dispatched.
July 9, 2015 at 2:15 PM: A traffic collision has been reported on Hwy 88 at Jackson Valley Road in Ione.
CHP and an ambulance are en route to the scene. Use extra caution in that area.
