CHP motorcycle officer hit and run on I-80

   UPDATE:  CHP now has a suspect in custody in this hit and run.

    April 7, 2016 at 2 PM:  A CHP motorcycle officer has been hit on I-80 near Greenback Lane in Sacramento.

   An air ambulance took the injured officer to a hospital. The vehicle that hit the officer left the scene.  No other details are known at this time. I-80 has been closed down. Avoid the area if possible.
